Hey there! UV Coating, It isn’t similar to the coatings we see on a normal stickerless cube. It’s a lot stickier somehow compared to a normal cube, this is actually one of the main purposes of this coating. It makes you have a better grip, and and it prevents scratches. If you take a look at your old stickerless cubes you’ll most likely see some scratches but on this cube it won’t happen :)  Hope this helps! If you have any questions feel free to ask.
